Dear Investors,

Could you imagine if Earth ran out of water and land and you had no other place to go? Funding our colony could mean a safe haven for you and others. Your investment would not only help us but it could help humanity!

This is a project you want to be a part of. Our project would be taking place on the closest dwarf planet, Ceres. It is located between Mars and Jupiter. Ideas this big don't come cheap so we need your investment to help us get to the colony, including materials for the space shuttle and a lot of fuel. We also need money to start building on Ceres. We will build farms and homes for our citizens. As a thank you gift, we will send you some of our crops in a rocket as a present for helping us and we will also offer you a chance to come to our colony as a first  citizen.

In addition to getting there and building we need some more help. We also need money so we could provide food,water, and air for our colonists. They would need enough to survive a 6 month trip and more when we get there. There is ice on Ceres, but it would take a while to drill down into that layer. Ceres does have a small atmosphere, but we wouldn’t be able to breathe it.

Some other things we need are some living things. We need animals and plants to help us get plenty of food. Some examples of animals we could use are chickens, cows, and other ordinary farm animals. We also need lots of plants to give us food and recycle air. A few plants we could use are lettuce, tomatoes, grapes, onions, or other garden plants. We don’t want stinky plants. To help us pollinate the flowers to reproduce we also need some bees.
